Yes, we are to grow up and put away childish things – but our faith is to be childlike – humble before God.
Matt 18:1-4
At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Our WAC (What About Christ) ministry sang songs and read scriptures for us on June 5, 2011. It is appropriate that our Christian Character Quality is Childlike. How do you measure down? That’s right – down? Is your faith tired and stuffy because you are older in your faith or do you come to the level of a child and humble yourself before God and put your full trust in Him?
